Happy Wednesday: Hayden's Baby Shower

Happy Wednesday!!!  We are so excited about our blog post!  A little over a year ago, Hayden Grace Hardcastle came in to our lives and changed our world forever!  Meghan, one of Hayley's best friends, and her mother threw a shower for Hayley and baby Hayden last year.  HH Design House helped Meghan and her mom host such a beautiful event!

It was so sweet of Meghan to host the shower at her home in Bellaire, Texas! She hung wooden carved Hayden monograms on her front door.

"H"s where EVERYWHERE to honor Hayden and Hayley!

Framed custom signage was placed throughout the party for decoration.  They matched invitations by HH Design House.

Little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice!  Our Hayden is no exception!  HH Design House created these special custom napkins for the event.

Matching water bottle labels by HH Design House for thirsty guests.

Yummy treats were topped with HH Design House cupcake toppers.  The food was to die for!

Menu cards by HH Design House were placed in front of the delicious spread!

Party favors were delicious cupcakes as sweet as Hayden Grace!  The jar tops were created by HH Design House.

Happy Hump Day: Showered With Love

Happy Hump Day Friends!

HH Design House has recently had the opportunity to jump on the seemingly baby boom bandwagon (between the two of us alone we have 7 pregnant friends!) designing baby shower invitations. Which is so fun for us because we also get to "ooh & awe" over all different kinds of bedding, nursery decor etc. After all, who doesn't love sharing in baby excitement??

Scroll down to check out several of our most recent shower invitations inviting guests to shower these mommies-to-be with LOVE!

Earlier this summer HH went to Dallas Market. She whipped up some new versions of an old favorite for our imprintable line...one for each - boy, girl, and those that wait to be surprised!

Special Delivery! How's that for sharing a bundle of joy!!

Check out these options for a stylish shower invite...in pink and blue of course!

Look what the tide washed in...this little guy will be welcomed into the world in style! This preppy invitation was just the beggining! We also created matching thank you notes and the shower hostesses had a wall plaque and cookies made to match the general theme of the nursery. HH and I attended the shower and can attest, Baby Davis' mommy received lots of love and gifts for her impending arrival at this shower recently held at the Sugar Bean in Evia on Galveston Island.

YUM, YUM - these adorable cookies were made by the amazingly talented Stephanie Conti, to complement the above invitation! Local Readers....Stephanie makes AMAZING Cookies, and Cakes, too! Contact her at sconti6655{at}sbcglobal.net or 409.744.3868!

Oh baby, baby...quite literally actually, as this future mommy is expecting boy/girl TWINS!

Lots of Love to all our Mommies or Mommies-to-be and their precious babies!!! Leave us a comment and let us know which is your favorite, or give us a new idea of a theme or design you'd like to see!

Happy Hump Day: This Takes the Cake!

Happy Hump Day all you candy girls and honey bunnies! Have we got something sweet for you to drool over...

It is such a great compliment to us when people like our paper creations so much they decide to have a confectionery creation made to match! Scroll down for a sweet trip to the candy shop and see what we have cooked up for today's Happy Hump Day post.

"Patty Cake, Patty Cake bakers man, bake me a cake as fast as you can..."

These shower invitations for new bouncing babies were turned into sweet treats, perfectly transforming the paper diaper bag and bassinet into sugary replications of our invites.

Ah, Sugar Sugar...These kiddos celebrated their birthday in style! Check out how their party invites were converted into saccharine goodies.

This little cowboy celebrated western style with a cake reflecting his invitation right down to the rope initials and star emblem also used on the water bottles, napkins, and thank you notes! But would you expect anything less from this party-planning mama...the mastermind behind "P is for Party?!?" I'm sure this provided tasty tidbits for the tots attending this barbeque bash!

Creepy crawlies suddenly aren't so scary anymore! I bet Little Miss Muffet would gladly throw down the "curds and whey" and stick around to snack with this sugary spider!

"Sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what little girls are made of!" These little sweeties had a butterfly garden party that was the "Icing on the Cake"...literally.

These next two cakes were both created by Nadine Moon of http://www.whomadethecake.com/ , whose delicious confections we can personally vouch for as she made HH's wedding cake!

"If I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake"...This 40th birthday party may have been a surprise for the honoree, but the party planners made sure cake was on the menu. The invitation and cake displayed a few of his favorite things.

If your sweet tooth hasn't been sending you an SOS just keep reading! This Texas themed party produced by Swift +Co also had a cake by Nadine Moon, which mirrored our invitation.

It's a Piece of Cake...The petit fours at this wedding shower in Sugar Land, TX gave a new meaning to "Everything's sweeter in Sugar Land"! These dainty little delights were not only scrumptious, but also matched the logo from the invitation perfectly!

"How Sweet it is..."This elegantly decorated cake was a delectable version of the lovely bridal brunch invitation. Doesn't it just look like a recipe for love!

We don't even have to sugar coat it...any way you slice it, with delightful invitations and sugary sweet replicas, you can have your cake and eat it too!

Wild About Babies: Zebra Shower

Take a Walk on the Wild Side with us for a minute...

It was a WILD ride as this shower had to be post-poned after it's original date was the morning after hurricane Ike's landfall, so by the time the event was re-scheduled, Carter was days away from arriving!

Designed around the Safari theme of the baby bedding; The invitations, shower game, diaper centerpiece, cake and favor labels all incorporated the zebra print and elephants of the nursery decor.

Zebra print is a favorite pattern of my own, and is used a lot in my own home and wardrobe! I was especially excited to wrap my gifts to the mommy-to-be in Zebra Patterned Paper!

Guests left with the baggies of chocolate McKenzie Cookies adorned with the matching sticker that read "Can't Wait for Carter!" I guess you could say that with the guest of honor, the zebra pattern, the "Pop Culture" Baby names games, and the best cookies in the world...this shower was brimming with some of my very favorite things!

Welcome to the Jungle, Baby Carter!

Cheerful Disposition:An Island Baby Shower in yellow and blue

We were honored to be a part of this Summertime celebration in Galveston! The Island disposition of sunshine and oceans was really captured in the sunny yellow and soothing blue color scheme. The complimenting colors (a favorite of HH Design House's LG) were demonstrated in every aspect of this sweetly southern soiree.

No detail was left untouched...from the invitations, lovely flower arrangements, coordinating linens, personalized beverage napkins, right down to the invitation matching advice cards at every place setting. The Sugar Bean Coffee and Cream, located in Evia, was a perfect venue to celebrate this Mommy-to-be.

Thanks for letting us share in toasting this new arrival!
